0022 - Johne's Disease Recertification Course

This module is based on the curriculum approved by the National Johne’s Working Group and the US Animal Health Association for the recertification of Johne’s-certified veterinarians. We suggest you check the map at http://vetmedce.vetmed.wisc.edu/jdvcp. If your state is colored in blue we recommend you contact your state’s Designated Johne’s Coordinator to see if this course meets your state’s requirements for recertification. (All the other states accept the online courses for Johne’s certification.) You can find the contact information for your state by going to the State Program map at http://www.johnesdisease.org/State/StatePrograms.htm.

ATTENTION WISCONSIN VETERINARIANS - Beginning July 1, 2009 you must register for the Wisconsin recertification course.  Go back to the course list and select course #0022-1.

Be advised that content for this course is identical to #0022-1.  (Johne's Disease Recertification - Wisconsin)  If you have already taken this course you should choose another course that you haven't taken.  

This module gives an update and review of the following topics:
  1. The changes in the Program Standards
  2. New and emerging tests for diagnosis of Johne's disease
  3. New findings and research on the epidemiology
  4. A review of new literatur
