About the Course.......
Practical and progressive ideas for Veterinary Technicians in private practice!
As cultural and societal ideas concerning animal pain and suffering are progressing, so must our ideas about veterinary anesthesia and analgesia. Thus, we will discuss new anesthetic and analgesic techniques as well as new twists on some old techniques, including fluid therapy. In addition, lectures on machines and monitors will help you decide which pieces of equipment suit your practice the best.
After attending this Seminar:
• You will know the “latest and greatest” anesthetic and analgesic techniques.
• You will take practical ideas concerning veterinary analgesia, anesthesia, and fluid therapy to your practices and put them to use on a daily basis.
• You will be able to recognize and provide therapy for many anesthetic emergencies.
• You will know when to shut the annoying monitor alarms off and when to believe them!
• You will be able to identify and solve your machine problems!
