About the Course...
This course will teach you some very practical, safe, and
cost-effective ways of controlling pain during and long after oral
surgery. You will learn to block strategic nerve points within the oral
cavity. Many of the new multimodal pain management options will be
thoroughly discussed. The many uses of “flapping” and soft tissue
handling within the oral cavity will be taught.

Instructor...
Dr. Bill Gengler

Dr. Bill Gengler is a native of Wisconsin,
USA. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of
Wisconsin– Platteville, a Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Dr. Gengler is a
Diplomate in the American Veterinary Dental College. He has 33
years of small animal practice experience. He currently holds a dual
appointment as Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs/Director of the
veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) at the University Of
Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and as the Director of the
Dental Program in the Department of Surgical Sciences where he
specializes in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery. He is also a
consultant to The VetCor Group.
